Choosing A Company Name

You need to consider this stage as important as planning and financial resources. The name is what will be with you for the life of the company, hopefully for a very long time. The name should try and reflect your product or service but not limited too. Good names like ToysRus and American TradUR show uniqueness but not extreme. They both reflect the product and service of the company. If you search the internet for either of their sites it will be at the top of the list.

ToysRus speaks very loudly in the name of their products only.

American TradUR silently says that we are a company looking for techniques to provide the customer with a wide variety of products and service. It loudly speaks out that we are American owned which is important to many buyers worldwide. Combined with our slogan, "For You With You In Mind" it clarifies the company name.

Decide on some names and then do some research about the name and be sure it is not owned by someone else.

The name does not have to be the same as your web site name that we will get to later. There are many company's that use slight variations to major differences for their company web site. This will vary based on the company name itself.

For example Americantradur.com was too long so we went with tradur.com It is much easier for our customers to remember and shows our company's unique position.
