Glenn started out in the furniture business working with his dad when he was just old enough to walk. He was inspired by his dads creations and hard work. But Glenn was more interested in the designing part of the furniture than building it. When he got older he left the small furniture shop of his dad and worked himself through a degree in engineering.

After Glenn graduated as an engineer he went to work for a huge corporate company designing and installing computer systems around the world. This is how Glenn ended up living in Indonesia building custom made designer furniture TODAY..

WHY MOVE TO INDONESIA

Long story short, Glenn met and married an Indonesian woman.
After being married for 3 years they had a daughter born in the USA .

Due to some papers being filed wrong with immigration and an overstay on a tourist visa
while their daughter was being born IN THE USA

US IMMIGRATION REFUSED TO ALLOW GLENN'S INDONESIAN WIFE - AND MOTHER OF HIS NEWBORN DAUGHTER BACK TO THE USA FOR 10 YEARS.

After fighting this for 2 years Glenn packed his bags and moved to Indonesia, where following in his dads footsteps he has set up a factory to produce furniture for his US company TradUR and its partners. Building designer custom made art furniture for more than 10 years.

All of our orders are inspected from start to finish by Glenn Madden an American living full time in Indonesia now for more than 8 years. Indonesia has many levels of wood quality and production and most all factory's from here can produce the best crafted furniture in the world. But with all business if you do not have quality control at the time of production you will get less than perfect products. We make sure this never happens.

We have more than 10 years experience in furniture building with Indonesians and have reduced to almost zero % any problems you might have. We have our own production facility.

Wood does move, it is the nature of wood. But we do not have any problems with warping, crackling and splitting. We kiln dry the wood in our own ovens to a moisture content of 8%. After one week out of the ovens it acclimatizes to 11% to 12%.

We use a 500 year old floating panels system to allow the panels to move inside the frames on the cabinets and doors. We pre-coat the raised panels inner edges with finish so if there is any shrinkage you will not see naked wood. We use silicon inside the panel frames to allow for movement but also remain stable and do not rattle.

We have been building kitchens and bathrooms now for 5 years for this group in Tulsa. We use several techniques that make the installation easy for a professional installer. It normally takes one week for an installer to completely install a household of our furniture.
- The sides of the cabinets where meets the wall will have an extra lip that if need be can be trimmed without modifying the cabinet.
- We build kitchen cabinets in sections that will fit through normal doors.
- We ship the crown molding for the upper cabinets separate so it can be installed at location to the fronts of the cabinet.

We use stressing techniques and can give you the Old World look both with Mahogany and Teak. Teak will cost you 10% more than Mahogany. Mahogany we use is Grade A and has the same wood quality as Teak. Mahogany does have a natural red tint that will show through on all finish colors.

We can match almost any color you need with the consideration of the Mahogany reddish background color. We offer both stains and painted finishes.
